Site work for a water / sewer project in Huntington, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Huntington proposes to construct a 12-inch water main from the north end of Progress Drive east to the west right-of-way of SR 9 and north along the west right-of-way of SR 9 to the north right-of-way of US Highway 24, a distance of approximately 6,590 LF. The water main extension will include but is not necessarily limited to clearing right-of-way, installation of water main by open cut, rock excavation, jack and bore installation below the railroad right-of-way and US Highway 24, a crossing of the Wabash River, protection of existing utilities, erosion control, and surface restoration as specified in the Contract Documents. It is anticipated that the City of Huntington will take bids received under advisement and that a recommendation of award may be made at the Board of Public Works and Safety September 2, 2025, meeting. The City of Huntington, Indiana reserves the right to reject all bids Question Deadline 08/15/2025 at 8:00 AM as per ADDA 1.
