Fire Alarm Inspection and Service The City of Lynn is soliciting bids from licensed fire alarm service companies to provide annual inspection, installation and repair service of all fire alarm systems. All work must be in accordance to the latest editions of the National Fire Alarm Code NFPA 72. All General Bids must be accompanied by a copy of a Department of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) "Certificate of Eligibility" (DCAMM Form CQ-7) and a "Contractor Update Statement" (DCAMM Form CQ-3). The category of work for which the Bidder must be certified is: Alarm Systems Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: "Bid #03-633 Fire Alarm Bid". Bid must be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the total bid price in the form of certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Lynn. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 and to the minimum prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L.c.149 26 27D. The City of Lynn reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and make award as may appear in the best interest of the City. Purchasing Agent will prepare the notice of award and awarding of this contract.
