Construction of a fully operational wet well lift station, complete with submersible pumps, an 8" force main, and associated service connections including the following key components: Approximately 22,800 linear feet of 8" SDR-21 PVC force main, service connections, lift station and valve vault installation and restoration. Bidders are advised that this Contract will be subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that this Contract will be subject to the Illinois Steel Products Procurement Act. This project is subject to the Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment (31 USC 1352), if applicable, and Illinois Works Jobs Program Act Apprenticeship Initiative. The successful Bidder shall provide at least 40% of all labor required for the completion of this project. The Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid and be payable to the order of the Village of Braceville. Bids may be held by the Village of Braceville for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
