Rehabilitate the bridge carrying CH 34V over the Mazon Ricer, 0.7 mile north of I-55, and replace the bridge carrying FAS 272 over an Unnamed Creek 3 miles southwest of Mazon. Braceville Road: This work shall consist of the removal of the existing single span bridge and replacement with a new precast 3 cell box culvert. The box culvert will be 35-6 long and 36- 0 wide from outside of headwall to outside of headwall. Also included will be HMA paving, erosion control measures, seeding, and other related work. Roadway shall be fully closed for this work. Carbon Hill Road: This work shall consist of the removal and replacement of the existing superstructure of the bridge. The new superstructure will be 158-9 from back of abutment to back of abutment and will be 28-0 wide from outside of deck to outside of deck. Also included is abutment and pier modifications and repairs, stone rip rap protection, HMA paving, erosion control measures, seeding, and other related work.
