Courthouse HVAC Improvements :- The project generally consists of, but not limited to furnishing all fixtures, equipment, accessories, materials, and labor required to provide a complete coordinated, and fully functional AHVAC system. It is the intent of the Culpeper County to contract a firm fixed price with one contractor, hereafter referred to as the "Contractor", to furnish all materials, equipment, and labor for the Culpeper County Courthouse Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Improvements Project. This project consists of improvement to the HVAC system at the Culpeper County Courthouse located at 135 W. Cameron Street, Culpeper, Virginia 22701. The HVAC improvements consist of, but not limited to: Replacing three (3) existing Roof Top Units (RTU) with new units with curb adapters and ductwork. Replacing one (1) 80-ton cooling tower with an air-cooled chiller Replacing twenty-four (24) fan coils Replacing one (1) 480 3-phase RPM pump. Replacing pneumatic controls and valves with electronic controls. Add Alternate #1 Replace air handler AC-2 in the 2nd Floor Records Room. The contractor shall furnish all fixtures, equipment, accessories, materials, and labor required to provide a complete coordinated, and fully functional HVAC system. The work to be performed as a result of this IFB shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications herein as more specifically defined in Attachment A (HVAC Specifications, dated March 31, 2025), and Attachment B (Ground Floor & Roof Power Plans, Scheds and Notes, dated March 31, 2025), as prepared by MEI Engineering, Inc., 1592 CF Pours Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22802. It is anticipated that this project will commence in Fall of 2025.
