Bidder shall provide a ten (10) hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for their on-site employees within 60 Days of award of the contract. Failure to provide training and maintain documentation of the training, may result in penalties under RSMO 292.675. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. Audrain County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. All equipment, materials and workmanship must be in accordance with the drawings and specifications on file with the City of Mexico Public Works Department, 300 N Coal St, Mexico, Missouri 65265. No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 60 days after the date of opening of bids. The contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the made will be notified at the earliest possible date. The Owner; however, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any informality in Bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in their interest. Question Deadline 08/24/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to the Public Works Department. Questions received less than 3 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
