The Owner reserves the right toreject any and all bids. Biddersmust provide a Bid Bond in theamount of 5% of the proposedcontract sum. The successfulbidder will be required to provide 100% Performance andPayment Bonds, and to complywith the Missouri Departmentof Labor Standards PrevailingWage Rates. Theprojects consist of the followingwork: RTU replacements at McMillan Elementary School, HVU replacements at the Vo-Tech Building, split system replacements at the Mexico Administration Building. The projects consist of the following work: HVAC Upgrades at Mexico Administration building, McMillan Early Learning Center, and Vo-Tech School. Bidder must have K-12 installation experience the previous 5 years and references for that work. Furnish and install calibrated balance valves with positive shut -off, memory stop indicator and integral valved readout ports at specified locations. Balance valves shall be Bell & Gossett Circuit Setter or approved equal. Balance valve shall not serve as isolation valve but shall be installed in addition to the required equipment isolation valves. Strict attention shall be given to compliance with manufacturer's recommendations for the length of straight piping required on the upstream and downstream side of the valve.
