Area to mow/weedeating consists of all short grass area in the Parks identified. (Mowing maps are attached as part of the specifications). From the Periods of April 2026 through June 2026 and April 2027 through June 2027. Mowing/weedeating services will start in the last two weeks of April. The start day will be coordinated and communicated by the Parks Superintendent with the contractor. After the initial mowing, the contractor will mow/weedeat once every 7-10 days. There will be a minimum of 4 mowing/weedeating. One of the mowings will need to take place the Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday immediately prior to Memorial Day. A provision will be made to allow for additional mowing on call. Mowing/Weedeating schedule will require that once an area is underway for mowing it will be completed within 3 days unless weather dictates otherwise. Please provide a per-park cost breakdown for each mowing cycle. Include any discounted pricing if awarded all listed park locations. The bid will be awarded to the best accumulative overall bid. The City of Mexico, MO reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding.
