Work under this Contract may generally be described to include, but not be limited to the following: Mobilization, stakeout of utilities, Dig Safely New York clearances, obtain NYS DOT construction permits and other permits as required, field office, project signs, clearing and grubbing, trenching, protection of existing facilities and structures, backfilling and compaction, rock removal, new water distribution facilities/appurtenances, water meter installation, new master meter vault, new air release vault, piping pressure/leakage testing, water system disinfection, horizontal directional drill (HDD) road crossings, horizontal directional drill (HDD) in rock, railroad crossing HDD pipe installation, water course crossings, asphalt pavement replacement, gravel driveway replacement, periodic and final cleanup, site restoration, erosion and sediment control, equipment operation and maintenance manuals, and all work necessary to complete the water distribution system in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.
