Site work for a military facility in Fairfield, California. Completed plans call for site work for a military facility.

The proposed acquisition is for mold abatement for building 812 on Travis AFB IAW attached SOW. Please see the attached Combined Synopsis - FA442725Q1099 and attachments for instructions on how to pepare a proposal, site visit dates, RFI deadlines, and proposal due dates. All work for this project is to be performed at 269 Ellis Rd. Travis Air Force Base, CA 6 August 2025 - RFI responses posted RFI deadline: 1 August 2025 @ 10:00 AM PDT RFI deadline: If there are any questions on this combined synopsis/solicitation, please contact the individuals Contract Specialist Karly Zamiar karly.zamiar@us.af.mil and Contracting Officer Brandon Spratt brandon.spratt.2@us.af.mil The following outline of the principle features of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all materials to do a complete job within the intent and scope of the specifications, sketches, drawings and contract. The contractors shall undertake the removal and replacement of all affected sheetrock and any associated components/materials that have been compromised by mold. General construction consists of the following items: 3.1. Contractor shall be responsible for demolition of existing drywall materials. The contractor will Isolate work areas above ceiling using critical barriers to create a negative pressure enclosure. Remove cove base in room on affected walls only. Remove damaged portion of suspended grid system on ceiling. Remove all drywall with visible signs of microbial growth and water damage. Clean wall cavities. HEPA Vacuum and wet wipe containment - apply anti-microbial solution. All utilities such as Electrical, Water etc... being supported by the affected wall or ceiling/floor will be braced and supported by the contractor in such a way to prevent vertical or lateral movement, without excessive force being applied to said utilities, without any permanent modifications or damages to the utilities and so that the utilities may continue to function as normal for the duration of the work. All bracing/supports shall be temporary and able to be removed. Any shut-down of utilities will be coordinated with Civil Engineer Customer Service at least 1 week in advance and will be carried out by the Civil Engineer Squadron. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, and materials to remove all total required material, replace insulation, drywall, texture, prime, and paint (Sherwin Williams 8646, PROMAR 200, ZERO VOC., EG SHELL.) The contractor shall perform an air sample testing prior to the removal of containment. The contractor will provide OSHA notification for this class 2 non friable asbestos & mold project. All mold remediation work shall be accomplished by mold remediation certified/trained workers. All work shall be coordinated through Maintenance Engineering.
