Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wellington, Colorado. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of July 29, 2025, this project is in the design phase. Construction is expected in 2027. Widen and reconstruct 1 mile of roadway (Owl Canyon Rd) from CR 13 to CR 15. Improvements include: Owl Canyon Road 6 to 8 foot paved shoulders culvert & structure crossing replacements utility relocations subgrade stabilization detour route during construction using CR 72 between CR 11 and CR 15 is anticipated improvements to CR 70 & CR 15 intersection are not part of this project PURPOSE This project is planned due to: pavement rehabilitation shoulder widening structure widening safety improvements
