Site work for a water / sewer project in Bearcreek, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
1. The work generally consists of: o Establish construction access to remote project site. o Placement of concrete (approx. 5 CY) in scour-damaged trench beneath Upper Spring Box. o Replacement of Upper Spring Box internal collection system, valves, and concrete lid panels. o Create log jam against upstream edge of Upper Spring Box. o Install barbed-wire fence and gate at Upper Spring Box. o Limited installation of riprap armoring utilizing large native cobbles. All construction schedules shall be substantially complete and ready for OWNER's use and pre-final inspection within 30 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, or by Friday, October 24, 2025, whichever is sooner. The CONTRACTOR shall pay the OWNER $1,000.00, for each calendar day or part of a day that expires after the time specified for Substantial Completion of any construction schedule(s) until the Work is substantially complete. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the OWNER, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) [MT] of the total amount of the bid. Successful bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a labor and materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
