Site work and paving for a civil project in Union, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project includes storm water construction at various locations on Big Bone Church Road with the most significant work consisting of removing an existing stone and concrete box culvert, installing a County owned aluminum box culvert in the same location, and building new concrete paving and bridge walls over the installed culvert. Bid Bond: A bidder's bond or certified check in the amount of NO VALUE% of the amount bid shall accompany any bid in excess of $100,000.00 for the bid to be acceptable. A bid bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in equal amount to five (5) percent of the bid (including Add Alternates) shall be submitted (electronically) with each bid. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the state of Kentucky to provide said surety. Boone County Occupational License: The successful bidder may be required to obtain a Boone County Occupational License. If required and bidder fails to obtain, it may result in termination of the contract. Bid Guarantee: A bid bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in equal amount to five (5) percent of the bid shall be submitted (electronically) with each bid. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the state of Kentucky to provide said surety. There will be no meeting for this project. Boone County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and to negotiate for the modifications of any bid or to accept that bid which is deemed the most desirable and advantageous from the standpoint of customer value and service and concept of operations, even though such bid may not, on its face, appear to be the lowest and best price.
