Renovation of a military facility in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The Texas Army National Guard is pursuing the acquisition of roof recoating services for Bldg. 71 at Camp Mabry, 2200 W 35th Street, Austin, TX 78703. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform Roof Recoatingservices. Building 71 Roof ReCoating - The objective of this SOW is to specify the work that needs to be completed on Camp Mabry. This project will consist of the roof preparation, inspection, removal and replacement of roof boots, application of epoxy seal, and cleanup. LOCATION - Building 71, Camp Mabry, 2200 W 35th Street, Austin TX 78703 Re-coating building 71's roof with a two-part epoxy coating. Prep R-Panel metal roof & metal ridge vent (little scuffing to remove loose debris, power-wash) Inspection R-Panels for holes, splits, tears thinning of the panel and repair Inspection all metal screws remove loose or damaged screws with slightly larger metal neoprene self-tapping screws Apply a rust inhibitor or prime on entire roof, plus ridge vent Remove & replace four roof boots for heater vents Apply a two-part epoxy seal I roof coating (two-part epoxy must be able to be re-apply on surface). Roof coating may be sprayed or painted on. Minimum finished thickness of epoxy seal shall be ,22mils or greater.
