The County does not have a specific bond form bidder must use, but the bond must be underwritten by a surety as described in Section 4 of the draft agreement. The Wakulla County Coastal Lift Stations Flood Mitigation Project (Project) will construct aluminum elevated platforms in order to elevate and waterproof electrical and control panels, and erect site fencing at four lift stations in coastal Wakulla County. Two of the lift stations will required the following work as well: install a waterproof hatch and wager valve, raise wet well lid, replace above ground valves. The project will be constructed to meet the survey and engineering as designed. Functioning lift stations are critical components of the overall sewer infrastructure as they pump the collected wastewater downstream where it ultimately arrives at the Otter Creek Wastewater Treatment Facility.
