The Ottawa Aboriginal Coalition has retained MBC to act as their Construction Manager for the construction of a new women's shelter in Ottawa. MBC invites you to bid on this tender for civil and concrete foundation work. This is a construction management project to build a new women's shelter located in Ottawa. MBC is on contract as the acting general contractor. The project is a new build consisting of three storeys above ground totaling approximately 17,500ft2. The building has a concrete foundation and a mostly wood frame structure. The ground floor is common space and offices, the second floor is the 13 suites, and third floor is mostly for mechanical. This tender package is for below-grade work only, this includes excavation and fill, site services, concrete forming, concrete reinforcing, concrete supply, slab finishing, below grade insulation and membranes, and waterproofing/dampproofing.
