Scope includes furnishing all plants, labor, material and equipment and performing all work required for the construction of Sunterra Lakes North Phase I Mass Grading and Detention Facilities. As of 7/25/2025 the plans have been approved by Brookshire Katy Drainage District and currently in for final approval from Waller County. The project is anticipated to receive Notice to Proceed (NTP) in the first week of September 2025. No pipeline removals are required as part of this project. Per the construction plans, all proposed storm sewer crossings over existing pipelines must be installed using trenchless methods. Scope of Work of the Contract includes the Construction of Sunterra Lakes North Phase I Mass Grading and Detention Facilities. For construction contracts $50,000 and over, the bidder shall submit a certified or cashier's check on a responsible bank in the State equal to two percent (2%) of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or bid bonds payable to the Owner. ON-MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on Monday, June 3rd, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Local time via Question Deadline 08/08/2025 In ample time to permit consideration before reply, submit questions about bidding instruments to the Engineer. Bidders should contact the Engineer not less than 72 hours before bid opening to secure any addenda that may affect bidding. Erosion control structures and erosion control protection shall be provided at all lateral drainage arteries entering the bayou, at all backslope drains entering lateral ditches, and such other points as may be designated by the Engineer or shown on the plans. At locations where laterals enter the bayou and no structure is to be constructed, the Contractor shall perform such operations as may be necessary to dress the slopes of the lateral ditch to a uniform section of nice appearance.
