Point San Pedro Road And Summit Ave Hawk Signal Crossing The Project will generally include installation of a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon or High-Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) signal system that includes poles, mast arms, signal buttons, electrical systems, and replacement of traffic signs and restriping at the intersection of Point San Pedro Road & Summit Ave in San Rafael. This work is partially funded by the State of California Cycle 10 Highway Safety Improvement Program. The award of contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with prescribed requirements, and is anticipated to be approved by the Board of Supervisors on September 16, 2025 and the Notice of Award sent out by September 17, 2025.
