Reference Number 0000299066 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/08/06 12:00:00 AM CDT The goods to be provided and services to be performed under this contract shall consist of road maintenance and repair activities within the Wabowden internal road network, as detailed below and in the accompanying Appendices. All work must adhere strictly to these specifications and industry best practices. Culvert Replacement and Ditching: Replace and ditch three (3) existing culverts. Each new culvert shall be 900mm (36 inches) in diameter by 12 meters (approximately 40 feet) in length, with a minimum material thickness of 2mm. Exact locations are specified in Appendix A. Culvert Cleaning and Ditching: Ditch and clear five (5) existing culverts to ensure proper flow and functionality. Exact locations are specified in Appendix B. Frost Boil Repair: Repair identified frost boils by excavating affected areas, installing an 8mm non-woven geomembrane fabric, and backfilling with a minimum of 200mm (8 inches) of compacted Traffic Gravel (19mm down/3/4 inch down). Exact locations and extents are specified in Appendix C. Road Grading and Gravelling: Perform grading and apply new gravel on an identified length of the internal road network. The precise length (8.67 km) and road segments requiring this work are detailed in Appendix D. Supply and Place Traffic Gravel (19mm down / 3/4 inch down): All additional gravel placement must be authorized in writing by Manitoba's representative prior to execution, and quantities will be measured and verified by Manitoba.
