Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in New Albany, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; road / highway; bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.
As of September 08, 2025, the project was awarded to Complete General Construction, with an awarded amount of $8,988,392.71. Materials and labor necessary for the construction of the Ganton Parkway Extension projects. The work for which bids are invited consists of: Roadway Improvements including approximately 6800 feet of road extension, 1 roundabout, 3 sided CONSPAN culvert, asphalt paths, storm sewer, earthwork, traffic control, landscaping, signals, lighting, utility duct banks, water line, and curb ramps. The cost estimate for the Project is $5,300,000 for Ganton Parkway West Phase 3A, $5,550,000 for Ganton Parkway West Phase 3B, $1,400,000 for Rhodes Ditch T2 Stream Relocation Phase 1, and $12,250,000 for the Total Bid. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner requires that this project has a substantial completion date for the 48" pipe, December 31, 2025, a substantial completion date for roadway, December 1, 2026 (see included phasing), and a final completion date (landscaping), April 30, 2027. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this Project. Engineer's Estimate: $5,300,000 (Ganton Parkway West Phase 3A Bid) $5,550,000 (Ganton Parkway West Phase 3B Bid) $1,400,000 (Rhodes Ditch T2 Stream Relocation Phase 1 Bid) $12,250,000 (Total Bid) The CITY OF NEW ALBANY reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion, offers the lowest and best bid.
