Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Greenbush, Minnesota. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Estimated durations and detour are as follows. A detour will be used for the duration of the project. Traffic will detour onto Roseau County roads 4 and 23. Local traffic can use city streets to avoid the road closure. Stage 1 Hwy 11 will be closed between the east side of 4th St to west side of Hwy 32 intersection (Approximately 5 weeks) Work to be completed: Install storm sewer on Hwy 11 Install storm sewer outlet to South Branch Two Rivers Reconstruct Hwy 11 Sidewalk reconstruction Install bases for corridor lighting Stage 2 Hwy 11 will be closed between the west side of 7th St to the east side of 4th St (Approximately 7 weeks) Work to be completed: Install storm sewer on Hwy 11 Reconstruct Hwy 11 Sidewalk reconstruction Install bases for corridor lighting Map showing truck detour route The project will require a detour utilizing Roseau County roads 4 and 23. The project is included in the State's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of July 29, 2025, per owner, MnDOT staff are designing this project. A construction contractor will be selected by low bid after the project is let in February of 2026. Design will be completed in November 2025. Construction is tentatively scheduled for June - Sept 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
