The cthe city of cocoa is soliciting for a contractor to complete the banana river chloramination improvements project located at 1950 east merritt island causeway, merritt island, fl 32953 , parcel id: 24-37-32-00-250. The project work includes the following major components: sodium hypochlorite and ammonium sulfate chemical feed systems consisting of chemical storage tanks, chemical feed pump skids, piping, instrumentation, and appurtenances. buried and exposed finished (potable) water piping for flow metering and chemical injection including fittings, valves, instrumentation, and appurtenances. access stairs and bridge for existing ground storage tanks with lighting. main control panel and plc for the booster station site. emergency backup power generator and fuel storage. demolition of existing equipment including the following: sodium hypochlorite storage tank and chemical feed pump skid, portions of the finished water piping, control panel and plc, recirculation pumps and piping, emergency backup power generator system.
