TSTS-EW-3004 - Landscape Package. The scope of work associated with this RFQ includes but is not limited to the supply of all materials, labour, and installation associated with Stage 1 Enabling Works - Landscaping which includes tree protection, topsoil/sod installation, tree removal and replacement, tree relocation, gravel installation, and asphalt and concrete repairs. This scope also includes a warranty period for all tree planting and transplanting, and maintenance to all materials products as installed by the contractor. The following are additional details of the scope of work, subject to change: Tree protection: Approximately 540m length of tree protection fence. Tree protection must be 1.2m in height and constructed of rigid or framed materials as per City of Ottawa Tree Protection Specifications. Topsoil/Sod Installation: Approximately 1,850 m. Minimum 150mm topsoil. Sod planted to be level with existing curbs/pathways where applicable. Gravel Installation: Approximately 500 m. Pedestrian Concrete Paving: Approximately 20 m. 140 mm thick concrete on compacted Granular 'A' base. Expansion joints at 4.5 m, control joints at 1.5 m. Light to medium broom finish perpendicular to travel. Tree Removal: Approximately seven trees of varying sizes removed. Tree relocation: Approximately three trees of varying sizes transplanted. Tree replacement: Approximately three trees planted.
