Pamela Place Flood Control Detention Basin Design Douglas County Community Development Department, hereinafter referred to as the "County" is issuing this RFQ to solicit Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from firms qualified to prepare the design and permitting applications for the Pamela Place Flood Control Detention Basin Design Project in Douglas County, NV. Introduction: The following is a preliminary Scope of Work (SOW) for the Pamela Place Flood Control Detention Basin Design project. The Johnson Lane Area Drainage Master Plan was completed and accepted by the Douglas County Board of Commissioners in August 2018. That plan identified several flood control improvements on publicly owned Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land. It has later been identified in the Johnson Lane Flood Mitigation Impact Assessment that an additional flood control improvement would be beneficial on a privately owned parcel at 2731 Pamela Place. The County has since acquired that parcel and is soliciting proposals for the design of a flood control facility on the property. Waive any immaterial defect or informality; or b. Reject any or all SOQs, or portions thereof; or c. Reissue the RFQ.
