Pike Place Market PDA Market Signage Installation Project Sealed proposals from Contractors are invited by Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority for the furnishing of all necessary engineering, labor, tools, transportation, services, supervision, materials and equipment required to complete the PDA Market Signage Installation Project. SCOPE OF WORK The PDA is seeking a qualified and experienced licensed Contractor to provide construction services for the PDA Market Signage Installation Project. The selected contractor shall be responsible for the fabrication and installation of one (1) steel-framed sign with open pan channel neon lettering and a clock feature. The sign is to read "Pike Place Market" and must meet the following specifications: Sign Specifications: 1. Lettering: o "PIKE PLACE" letters to be approximately 2'-2" in height. o "MARKET" letters to be approximately 2'-6" in height. o All letters shall be open channel aluminum, fabricated with clear red 15mm neon tubing. o Letters shall be coated with polyurethane paint. 2. Clock Feature: o Clock to be approximately 2'-0" in radius and integrated into the sign design. o Design shall match the aesthetic of the existing Pike Place Market signage. 3. Frame: o Constructed from 2" x 2" steel square tubing and 4" x 4" steel angle. o Overall frame dimensions to be approximately 3'-2 7/16" (H) x 22'-6" (W). o All steel components shall be primed and painted; final color to be determined by the owner. Installation Requirements: o Contractor shall install the sign and supporting frame in accordance with the attached structural design drawings. o Contractor shall be responsible for all means, methods, and access necessary to perform the installation, including coordination with permitting authorities to confirm and document structural adequacy. o Contractor shall provide and install all required mounting hardware and ensure that all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and the approved design documents.
