Site work for a bridge / tunnel in New York, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
This project will rehabilitate or replace seven culverts in Orange, Rockland, and Westchester Counties. The rehabilitations will occur on two culverts that carry NY Route 17 over Wee Wah and Unknown Stream, two culverts that carry NY Route 303 over Sparkill Creek and Unknown Stream, NY Route 134 over Unknown Stream, and the Taconic State Parkway over Davis Brook. The replacement will occur on the culvert carrying Coolidge Street over Unknown Stream. Work will take place in various municipalities throughout Orange, Rockland, and Westchester Counties. Construction is expected to be completed in Summer 2027. As of October 15, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2026. NYDOT - Culvert Rehab/Replace: Orange, Rockland, and Westchester Counties *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
