Construction of a new 99,500 sf high school in Taft, TX. Phase 1 Demolition of the existing buildings is currently in progress. Phase 2 is the construction of a 98,500 SF High School Building which includes a Gymnasium and supporting locker rooms, Classroom and Lab Facilities, a Cafeteria and Kitchen, Faculty Offices, Career Training Classrooms and Labs, a performing arts section and supporting facilities. The structure is a single story with a roofline of varying heights with mechanical mezzanine composed of masonry walls and structural steel. The exteriors finishes are brick, plaster, metal panels, and glass. The interior finishes vary but include tiles, drywall, wood panels, LVT, wood and epoxy floors.
