Renovation of a transportation facility in Tucson, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Construction Services in support of the Tucson Gate Improvements Project in Tucson, AZ. Supply and install new gate and gate related items. This project consists of exterior gate upgrade at Tucson, AZ (TUS) Station to enhance Amtrak's assets, provide positive customer service and experience, and improve safety and security for customers and Amtrak employees. The scope of work for this project consists of: o Verify, fabricate and install a single wide heavy-duty gate compliant with City of Tucson regulations at the Amtrak station o Gate system must include o V-track, rollers, guides, catchers, mounts, and cast iron 6 inch wheels o Locking mechanism for securing gate after hours or not in use o Incorporate local fire department access utilizing Knox Box or local permitting requirements for emergency access. o Ensure gate matches existing fence: same height and color o Heavy duty cane bolt drop rod for added security o Ensure ADA compliant o Gate must adhere to City of Tucson commercial gate specifications o Gate and specification must be approved by the City of Tucson o All demo materials must be disposed off site accordingly A mandatory site visit will be held. Date and time will be issued with solicitation. **Amtrak does not publicly make available bid tabulations or award information for any of their projects .**
