The Rice County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is soliciting proposals for a builder of eight (8) single-family homes in the Twin Oaks subdivision in Faribault, Minnesota. Twin Oaks is a 22-lot subdivision created to provide affordable homeownership options for households earning less than 115% of area median income. The successful project will address the following needs: o Affordable housing opportunities for households earning up to 80% state median income o Efficient use of the location o Comply with all building and Impact Fund requirements o Contribute to the goal of workforce housing community o Innovative solutions/alternatives to address and reduce construction costs and ongoing maintenance for homebuyers. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
