Contract Description: Contract No. 2025-05 consists of the paving of approximately 2,745 SY; and associated pavement restoration and improvements. The project includes three municipal roadways located in the Borough of Lewistown. Proposals shall be on forms furnished by the Municipality. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. This project is financed in part with PennDOT Liquid Fuels Funds; therefore, the obligations imposed on the Owner by the financing agency shall apply to and be acceptable to the successful bidder(s), including subcontractors, as specified in Section 102.01 of PennDOT Specifications (Pub 408). The successful bidder(s) will be required to fully complete all work within approximately 30 consecutive calendar days from, and including, the date indicated by the Owner in their written Notice to Proceed. It should be noted that the work shall be completed by Friday, October 31st, 2025.
