Lepley Electrical Contractor, Inc. - $220,335.00 (Base Bid total bid $2,255,925. Sealed proposals marked "Mifflin County Library Alterations & Additions - Phase 2" are solicited for additions, exterior alterations, and limited interior improvements to the existing Mifflin County Library building. Phase 1 included extensive interior modifications and system upgrades. The project involves multiple contracts: General Construction, Mechanical Construction, Electrical Construction, and Plumbing (including fire sprinkler system) Construction. The scope mainly covers foundation excavation and backfill, concrete, masonry, steel decking, wood trusses, roofing, E.I.F.S finish systems, window replacement, interior framing and finishes, and associated utility and building system modifications. Site finishing and improvements to the property and adjacent streetscapes are anticipated as a future phase. All bidders must register for the bid by purchasing one copy of the Project Manual for $25.00, payable to Mifflin County. Prospective bidders are advised to review the facility during business hours by appointment. Proposals must include a Bid Bond of at least ten percent (10%) of the Bid proposal. No bids may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening.
