Site work for a library in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a library.
This project consists of site finishing and improvements to the overall Mifflin County Library property and adjacent streetscapes. The work primarily includes miscellaneous site demolition, excavation, backfill and grading, storm drainage, concrete sidewalk and curbs, pavers, retaining walls, landscaping, outdoor accessories, signage, and site lighting. The facility is to be relabeled the Mifflin County Community Learning Center. Two contracts will be awarded for the work: General Construction and Electrical Construction. Prospective bidders must register by purchasing a Project Manual. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the bid proposal. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty days after the bid opening. The County reserves the right to reject any bids or waive any informality in the bidding process, and may reject the bid of any bidder deemed not qualified. Contract #1 (GC) anticipated contract range is $500,000 - $700,000 Contract #2 (EC) anticipated contract range is$200,000-$300,000"
