Rubber roofing has been already awarded, but the metal roofing was postponed. Bid Number #1 - Metal Roofing Scope of work: o Install 24-gauge metal roof over existing shingles for the following roofs: One (1) primary peeked roof, four (4) small peeked roofs, and all dip edges above overhead doors and doorways. o All peeked roofs to have facia trim. o Installation of snow rails on two (2) sides of larger roof. o Leave all existing gutters o Removal of all debris from the project site. Bid Number #2- Rubber Roofing Scope of work: o Replacement of two (2) existing rubber roofs. o Removal of existing rubber roof o Install 2" polyisocyanurate insulation, mechanically fastened to the roof deck o .060 mill EPDM roofing fully adhered to the insulation o Install new aluminum edge, flash all penetrations and terminations to manufacturer's specifications. o Removal of all debris from the project site. l Bid Shall Include the Following: o Bid to include all materials, labor and supplies required for completion of job. o Removal and disposition of all project debris shall be the sole responsibility of the successful bidder and in accordance with Montgomery-Otsego-Schoharie Solid Waste Authority (MOSA) Schoharie County and/or NYS DEC regulations. o 10-year labor and material warranty o This work is subject to the NYS Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Law, PRC#2018901125. The successful bidder shall provide the Village of Cobleskill with a performance bond for the work to be performed in the bid specifications. The Village reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by or investigation of such bidder fails to satisfy the Village that such bidder is properly qualified or otherwise able to carry out of the obligations set forth by the bid. Insurances The successful bidder shall purchase and/or provide the following: Workers' Compensation and disability insurance for employees. Sufficient security in an amount satisfactory to the Village to insure performance of the contract. General liability insurance in an amount satisfactory to the Village. The successful bidder shall provide a certificate of insurance for each such coverage and all policies shall contain a provision or endorsement that the coverage afforded will not be cancelled, materially changed or renewal refused without at least 30 days prior written notice to the Village via certified mail. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to award some or all the sections of work, to waive any irregularities, and to award the bid in the best interests of the Village.
