CR Number: 2125954 The State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill is seeking a responsive and responsible contractor for the removal of (3) 20,000 Underground Storage Tanks (UST) containing #6 fuel oil at Wheeler Hall. Work will include the evacuation of approx. 22,000 gals of oil from 3 UST's. Tank 12A contains 2099 gals., Tank 12B contains 19320 gals, and tank 12C contains 1001 gals), the cleaning of 3 tanks, and associated piping. All product and waste shall be transported and disposed of in accordance to regulatory requirements. The emptied, cleaned tanks and associated piping, shall be removed and disposed of in accordance with all applicable NY State regulation. There is known soil contamination surrounding the fill port and the monitoring well of Tank 12 B. Contamination beyond surface is unknown. Provide per ton price for unforeseen contaminated soil, and concrete at site. The site excavated area shall be backfilled with structural soil, with top 12" being DOT Subbase Type 2. Contract term: Completed by November 14, 2025 Work to be Done The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Project Number 241108, titled Remove Oil Tanks - Wheeler Hall and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents.
