Site work for a water / sewer project in Washington Court House, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project Scope of Work: This project includes mobilization, access and well site development, drilling or cleaning out of and plugging of two (2) Orphan Well(s), storage and disposal of all materials generated during the plugging of the wells, decommissioning, removal, storage and disposal of all casing, tubing, well and production equipment and affiliated lines and restoration of all areas disturbed during this project. Wells to be plugged per the individual plugging plans. Wittenbrook CH #1 34-111-6-4610-00-00 Monroe & Wittenbrook CH #3 34-111-6-4608-00-00 Monroe Washington Evaluation & Contract: The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State active on a CSP900922 contract. Supplier must have completed the required pre-bid meeting and be in good standings with all other Division and Agency Projects. Question Deadline 08/20/2025 at 10:00 AM ET The Project must be completed one (1) year after the effective date or by June 30, 2027 Wittenbrook, CH #1, 34-111-6-4610-00-00, Monroe County, Washington Township Background: The Wittenbrook, CH #1 is located on a 20.56-acre parcel (290060010000) owned by Isiah & Josie Levan. The address 39600 St Rt 26, Greysville, OH 45734. This well was origianlly brought to the divisiona attention because it had leaked oil into the landowners pond. The well wasstabilized and the area was cleaned using division UPC funding. The well was originally equipped with 6.63-inch production casing with an open ports, 2.38-inch tubing with a tee fitting and an open 2-inch nipple venting to the atmousphere, and sucker rods with a bridle. A 24-inch corrugated HDPE riser was installed around the wellhead, the nipple on the 2.38-inch tubing was replaced and a plug was installed. There are no formation or casing records for the Wittenbrook, CH #1; however, an offset well the Crawford, Geo #7 (34-129-6-4304-00-00), located approximately 800 feet to the southwest and of a similar vintage was drilled in 1901 to a depth of 1,522 feet and produced out of the Keener sandstone. Casing data for the Crawford, Geo #7 34-111-6-4304-00-00, shows the following: o 10-inch conductor set to 70 feet o 8.25-inch surface casing set to 665 feet o 6.25-inch production casing at 1,156 feet For the purposes of this scope of work, it is assumed that the Wittenbrook, CH #1 was drilled to a total depth of approximately 1,550 feet and produced from the Keener sandstone. The well is equipped with approximately 1,150 feet of 6.63-inch production casing and approximately 1,550 feet of 2.38-inch tubing. Scope of Work: This project includes the mobilization and access to the site, plugging the orphan well, as well as regrading of disturbed areas as described. Wittenbrook, CH #3, 34-111-6-4608-00-00, Monroe County, Washington Township Background: The Wittenbrook, CH #3 is located on a 20.56-acre parcel (290060010000) owned by Isiah & Josie Levan. The address 39600 St Rt 26, Greysville, OH 45734. Division inspection found the well equipped with open 11-inch conductor, 8.63-inch surface casing equipped with a gas escape packer wellhead, 2.38-tubing and rods, and a scissor style pumping unit that has fallen off the well. The 2.38-inch tubing and rods have been bent or broken at the wellhead, the 1-inch tubing was not present in the well head but an unknown diameter steel line is scattered around the wellsite. There are no formation or casing records for the Wittenbrook, CH #3; however, an offset well the Crawford, Geo #7 34-129-2-0127-00-00, located approximately 1,500 feet to the southwest and of a similar vintage was drilled in 1901 to a depth of 1,522 feet and produced out of the Keener sandstone. Casing data for the Crawford, Geo #7 34-129-2-0127-00-00, shows the following: o 10-inch conductor set to 70 feet o 8.25-inch surface casing set to 665 feet o 6.25-inch production casing at 1,156 feet For the purposes of this scope of work, it is assumed that the Wittenbrook, CH #3 was drilled to a total depth of approximately 1,550 feet and produced from the Keener sandstone. The well is equipped with approximately 70 feet of 11-inch conductor, 665 feet of 8.63-inch surface casing, 2.38- inch tubing set near total depth, and approximately 650 feet of 1-inch tubing set on a gas escape packer near the bottom of the surface casing. The deepest underground source of drinking water (USDW) is not mapped in this area. Based on local water well data, offset oil and gas well records within the reviewed area, and published groundwater Scope of Work: This project includes the mobilization and access to the site, plugging the orphan well, as well as regrading of disturbed areas as described. For the purposes of this scope of work, it is assumed that the Wittenbrook, CH #3 was drilled to a total depth of approximately 1,550 feet and produced from the Keener sandstone. The well is equipped with approximately 70 feet of 11-inch conductor, 665 feet of 8.63-inch surface casing, 2.38- inch tubing set near total depth, and approximately 650 feet of 1-inch tubing set on a gas escape packer near the bottom of the surface casing.
