Demolition and site work for a residential development in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The Department of Safety and Inspection is seeking quotes for demolition services. Services shall include the following but is not limited to: Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary or incidental to the wrecking and removal of structures. Quotes provided by the Contractor shall remain effective for 365 days. The Contractor shall not commence work until a Purchase Order and a Notice to Proceed is received from the Department of Safety and Inspections, Code Enforcement Division. Demolition must start within five (5) calendar days of the date of the Notice to Proceed and demolition must be complete within thirty (30) calendar days after the work has begun. The Contractor shall comply with all requirements of the Standard Demolition Specifications. The Contractor should inspect the site to clearly understand the work specified. Vendors should not identify their company and remember that all questions submitted by vendors are public. Bid Bonds must be scanned in and uploaded as an attachment to the Supplier's response on the Supplier Portal, online. A 5% bid bond is required for all bids $175,000 or more. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 471.345, Subd. 18, Contractors may submit bids, quotations, and proposals electronically in a form and manner required by the municipality. A municipality may allow bid, performance, or payment bonds, or other security, to be furnished electronically. Prior to the award of the project, the City reserves the right to request a list of references, equipment inventory list and a list of personnel that will be working at the jobsite. The City reserves the right to reject vendors that the City deems not meeting the appropriate references, equipment or personnel.
