Responder questions due July 18, 2025 @ 2:00pm Saint Paul Public Schools, Independent School District #625, is requesting proposals for Architect Services for Roof Replacement at Battle Creek Elementary School. Currently, the west, north and northeast sections of the roof, surrounding the gym, account for approximately 12,500 sq ft. and show major signs of deterioration, including soft insulation due to significant water penetration, large cracks, vegetation and ballast that has been raked away. Active leaks after rainfall still penetrate the hallway below; temporary gutters have beeninstalled inside the building to redirect infiltrated water to collection buckets. The building's insurance coverage has been changed to Actual Cash Value rather than Replacement cost due to the significant change in condition. This is a critical improvement need. Responders shall submit in writing all project and RFP questions, including any questions from site visit, via online for incorporation into any addenda. No telephone or in-person inquiries will be accepted. The preliminary construction cost estimate is $ $2,385,000. This includes all hard construction costs, including contractor general conditions, inflation multiplier, and estimating/design contingency.
