Project is to paint the exterior and interior of the CHRISTIAN 300,000-gallon tank along with doing the required modifications per the project specifications. The project is described as follows:Provide labor, material, and equipment to paint the exterior and interior of the CHRISTIAN 300,000-gallon tank along with doing the required modifications per the project specifications located at 1405 Christian Road in Ross Township; Butler County, Ohio. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Such Bid guaranty shall be in the form of either a bond, secured by a corporate surety, in the amount of 100% of the bid amount; or a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit, made payable to the District, in an amount equal to 10% of the Bid amount. All corporate sureties shall be licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Proposal and all persons interested therein. The Southwest Regional Water District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bidding. The CHRISTIAN tank will be painted during late 2025 and early 2026, the tank must be ready for refilling no later than April 17, 2026. All work must be completed and ready for final payment by June 1, 2026. The CHRISTIAN Tank can be started after Labor Day September 1, 2025. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE OF THIS AGREEMENT. In the event of an unjustified delay in completion of the work, liquidated damages shall be deducted from any sums remaining unpaid under the Agreement, or from any retainage. The amount of liquidated damages shall be $200.00 per calendar day
