Woodruff Avenue Traffic Signal Synchronization Program (TSSP) Upgrades to traffic signal equipment, pedestrian enhancements, and the performance of other appurtenant work , Woodruff Avenue Traffic Signal Synchronization Program (TSSP) - Firestone Boulevard to Willow Street, in the Cities of Bellflower, Downey, Lakewood, and Long Beach and in the unincorporated community of Long Beach. Pursuant to State Public Contract Code section 3400, the Board of Supervisors made a finding that the traffic signal controller software is designated by specific brand name to match other products in use on a particular public improvement either completed. The project Plans and Specifications designate traffic signal controller software to be manufactured by Fourth Dimension Traffic. The successful bidder will be required to submit a faithful performance bond, payment bond, and liability and workers' compensation insurance with the contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a surety bond payable to County of Los Angeles in an amount equal to at least 10 percent of the bid to guarantee that the bidder will enter into the contract if it is so awarded.
