The County of Los Angeles (County) Department of Parks and Recreation (Department) is seeking qualified vendors to enter into Master Agreements with the County to provide As-Needed Consultant Services for the following Service Categories: Planning Services, Environmental Services, Landscape Architecture Services, Civil Engineering Services, Architecture Services, Construction-Cost Management Services, Real Estate Services, Community Engagement Services, Graphic Communication Services, Public Relations and Marketing Services. The intent of the Request for Statements of Qualifications (RFSQ) is to ensure the Department has a qualified pool of vendors to provide a variety of As-Needed Consultant Services in the above listed categories. The County of Los Angeles (County) Department of Parks and Recreation (Department) is seeking qualified companies to enter into Master Agreements with the County to provide As-Needed Consultant Services for planning, design, construction, and facilities maintenance projects throughout the County. The Department manages one of the nation's largest municipal park systems, with 183 parks including local and regional parks, eight nature centers, four botanical gardens, 20 golf courses, 15 wildlife sanctuaries, 37 public swimming pools, more than 200 miles of multi-use trails, and the iconic Hollywood Bowl. This network of open spaces spans over 73,000 acres across southern California and is home to a wide range of recreational and cultural resources, including archeological sites and historical buildings, sports fields and courts, senior and community centers, playgrounds and gymnasiums.
