The current DBE Goal is 10.54%. Polk County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida is soliciting bids for construction services to construct approximately 0.58 miles of ADA-compliant sidewalk in order to establish a continuous pedestrian path along Maine Avenue between Combee Road and Reynolds Road. This improvement will provide safe and functional access to the Oscar J. Pope Elementary School on the north side of Maine Avenue in Lakeland, Florida. This project is federally funded with assistance from the FDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). By submitting a response, the Bidder certifies that they are in compliance with FDOT Procedure No. 375-030-006 (Restriction on Consultants Eligibility to Compete for Department Contracts) and that no principle is presently suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible or voluntarily excluded from participation on this transaction by any Federal Department or Agency.
