The switch must be a four (4) compartment dead front automatic source transfer switchgear consisting of load-break air switches or load-break vacuum interrupters and electronically controlled, resettable vacuum fault interrupters. The complete transfer operation shall be accomplished in 60 cycles or less. All four compartments must accommodate both 200 and 600 amp terminations. Drawings and schematics shall be submitted for approval before fabrication. The physical configuration of the switchgear shall be functionally similar to an S&C SourceTransfer PMH-9 which this new switchgear will be replacing. This new switch is intended to be a Retro-fittable design, replacing S&C PMH-9 switchgears. However, a standard design switch may be requested at time of quotation. The existing switch to be replaced has an existing cable termination height of 16-inches on the source side and 12 5/8-inches on the load side, not including 12-inches for base spacer. All auxillary contacts must be wired to and landed on terminals in the control cabinet. Please see the attached specifcation for schematics, dimensions, and descriptions. This contract is for a vendor to provide 4-compartment deadfront automaitc transfer switches. The switch must be retro-fittable to existing pads for an S&C PHMH transfer switch.
