The City of Lakeland Public Works - Facilities Maintenance Division is requesting proposals for services of qualified and experienced state certified Roofing Contractor registered and licensed in the State of Florida, to perform all work outlined in the attached project specifications and construction documents for the Roof Replacement project at Solid Waste, located at 605 Evelyn Avenue, Lakeland, FL. Solid Waste Roof area includes a low slope modified bitumen roof - totaling approximately 7,000 square feet. The work includes, but is not limited to: Low Slope Roof Replacement- Remove and dispose of the roof system including flashings and sheet metal down to the lightweight insulating concrete. Provide 2.5" roof insulation loose laid. Provide min 1.5" tapered insulation system mechanically attached. Provide cover board adhered in foam adhesive. Fully adhere felt-back thermoplastic single ply membrane along with flashings and accessories. Replace sheet metal flashings and trim. Provide a complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly. Provide electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other related trade work necessary to facilitate project operations. Relocate or raise conduit, HVAC equipment, curbs, and/or plumbing necessary to comply with the requirements of these documents and confirm to the requirements of the State Building Code.
