This project, Rhode Island Contract No. 2025-CH-036, Federal Aid Project Nos. NHPRESF(493), NHPG-RESF(495) and STP-HSIP(122) is for pavement improvements on West Main Road and Sprague Street in the towns of Middletown and Portsmouth , Rhode Island, County of Newport. The work will include, but not be limited to, full width micro milling and overlay, reclamation of Sprague St. from Rte. 24 to East Main Rd, pavement widening and new traffic signals at West Main Rd./Union St. and East Main Rd/McCorrie Rd., installation of pavement markings and ADA compliant wheelchair ramps project wide, new cement concrete curbing and sidewalks, and all incidentals, complete in place and accepted, to complete the work of the contract to the satisfaction of the Engineer. This project includes roadway improvements on West Main Road, Sprague Street and the intersection of East Main Road and McCorrie Lane in Portsmouth and a section of West Main Road in Middletown.
