The Project consists of connecting into the existing 12-inch watermain on High Street. Removal and replacement of 80-feet of asbestos cement (AC) watermain with 12-inch cement lined ductile iron (CLDI) along State Street. Then continued down State Street 1460- feet with the 12-inch CLDI while abandoning the AC pipe in place. The 12-inch CLDI will be increased to 16-inch CLDI for approximately 3,425 linear feet to the intersection with Jim Ash Street where it will be constructed to the entrance of the access road for the proposed new water tank. The Project includes all the associated valves, hydrants, connecting the existing customers to the new watermain as well as installing 23 new service lines to the curb stops to the properties with existing homes on them. Final restoration shall include permanent trench pavement and loaming and seeding. The project consists of the removal, replacement, and extension of the existing waterline in State Street, Bondsville, MA from South High Street to Jim Ash Street This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58, && 70901-70953. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States. The following waivers apply to this Contract: BABAA De Minimis, Small Grants, and Minor Components. Bidders must meet the minimum experience requirements set forth in Article 3 of the Instructions to Bidders (Section C-200) in the contract documents.
