The scope of work consists of installation of 880 l.f., of 8 PVC waterline, fire hydrants, valves and necessary appurtenances. Main Street Waterline (OPWC) The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form). 2. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of the Village in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is 100% payment and performance bond. 3. If you are an out-of-state corporation wishing to submit a bid for this project, you must submit an Ohio Certificate of Good Standing and the name and address of your Ohio Statutory Agent with your bid documents. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than June 30, 2026. The successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time or not accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond or check, will neither be read nor considered. The Village of Continental reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. This project is being partially funded by OPWC funds. The opinion of the probable cost is $159,000.00.
