SEALED BIDS for the furnishing of the necessary materials and construction of the VILLAGE OF CONTINENTAL, OHIO LAKELAND DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS (OPWC) The scope of work consists of road reconstruction including installation of asphalt pavement, 3,200 l.f. of curb, storm sewer and concrete drive approaches, per specifications, and necessary appurtenances. All bids must be signed and submitted on the blanks which are bound in this booklet. Bids must state the unit prices in the blanks provided and be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked - VILLAGE OF CONTINENTAL, OHIO - LAKELAND DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS (OPWC) -- and addressed to the Village of Continental, P.O. Box 447, 110 N. Main Street, Continental, OH 45831. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form). 2. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of the Village in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is 100% payment and performance bond.
