The City of Harvey is the recipient of Grant 22-203691 to replace water meters pursuant to an agreement between the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO) and the City. This grant has an overall Business Enterprise Program (BEP) Goal of 28% with 18%to minority owned business enterprises (MBEs and WMBEs), and 10% to women-owned business enterprises (WBEs and WMBEs). Only contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers certified through the State of Illinois Commission on Equity and Inclusion (CE) Business Enterprise Program will count toward meeting the BEP Goal for thisproject Calumet City Plumbing Co., Inc., 281 River Oaks Drive, Calumet City, IL 60409, (708) 868-0074, is actively seeking subcontractors meeting the above requirements for Subcontracting opportunities in the following areas: Water Meter Installation, Water Meter Replacement Project Management & Appointment Scheduling. All subcontractors must have in place an Affirmative Action Program which recognizes a policy to recruit, hire, train, upgrade, promote, and discipline persons without regard to race color, religion, sex, national origin, or ancestry.
