Renovation of an educational facility in Harvey, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for HVAC Upgrades to Brooks Middle School located in Harvey, IL 60426. Bidding documents, including drawings and specifications, are available electronically through the office of the Architect. Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms and must include a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount as a guarantee of contract entry and performance security if selected. The successful bidder must provide a performance and payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Contractor and all subcontractors must pay prevailing wages as set by the Illinois Department of Labor and comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and Illinois Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or bids. *There is no prebid meeting for this project.
