The Town of Ellenboro will accept sealed bids for the construction of the Cotton Gin Park project located 132 Main Street, Ellenboro, NC 28040. The Town of Ellenboro reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Requests for information shall utilize the pre-bid question form included in the project manual and be directed to the Landscape Architect via email at bids@dbdplanning.com. All responses for information and addenda will be issued to https://dbdplanning.com/active-bids/ Question Deadline 08/18/2025 Any explanation desired by a Bidder regarding the meaning or interpretation of the bid package must be requested by using the attached pre-bid request for information form and be delivered via email to the Landscape Architect at bids@dbdplanning.com seven business days prior to the receipt of Bids, to allow sufficient time for a reply to reach all prospective Bidders before the submission of their bid All questions must be received seven (7) business days prior to the date fixed for receiving bids. Questions will be addressed at least five (5) business days prior to the date fixed for receiving Bids. The contractor shall assemble and duly guarantee all warranties as required by these specifications. They shall assemble and deliver to the Town all bonds, guarantees, releases, etc. required by these specifications before final payment is made. B. The contractor shall guarantee all work against defective workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year after acceptance of the project by the Town. The contractor at no cost shall make any equipment or work found to be faulty during this period good to the Town. Work Covered by Contract Documents: Work of this Contract includes construction of the COTTON GIN PARK, 132 Main Street, Ellenboro, NC 28040 as outlined in these specifications and in construction drawings. . Use of Site: 1. Limit use of Site for Work and for construction operations. 2. Coordinate use of Site under direction from Owner. 3. Protect buildings and site from damage during construction. Contractor shall correct damage at no cost to Owner. 4. Protect all public walks and entrances during construction. Allow for public safety and safe entrance and egress from the building.
